Vinyasa Flow
Breath-led movement that builds heat and ends quiet. Our most popular class, and a fine place to start the day.
Vinyasa is the practice of moving with the breath. Each pose flows into the next, so the class becomes one long, unbroken line rather than a set of separate shapes. Expect a mix of standing poses, balances and a floor sequence, all tied together by the rhythm of the inhale and the exhale. It builds heat through the middle and lands somewhere quiet at the end.
It is our most popular class for a reason. The flow is energising without being a workout for its own sake, and the breath gives you something to come back to whenever the mind wanders. You leave warm, clear and a little more awake than you arrived.

Who it is for
Everyone. This is an all-levels class, with options offered throughout, so you can take the fuller version of a pose or the gentler one as the day asks. If you are brand new, you are welcome here. If you have practised for years, there is plenty to refine. Nobody is singled out, and you set your own pace within the flow.
What to expect
A warm-up that wakes the body slowly, then a building sequence of standing poses and balances, a floor section to open the hips and back, and a few quiet minutes at the end to let it all settle. The teacher offers variations as you go, so the same class works whether you want to push a little or simply move and breathe.
What to bring
Yourself, water, and clothes you can move in. Mats and props are free to borrow at the studio, so there is no need to buy anything before your first class. Come a few minutes early, leave your shoes at the door, and let the teacher know if it is your first time.
Who teaches it & where
This morning flow is led by Maya Castillo at Solas Venice, in the Main Room. It is an early start, set to catch first light, and a calm way to open the week before the rest of the day arrives.
When it runs
Vinyasa Flow runs as a regular morning class, roughly an hour from start to rest. Times and teachers can vary across the week, so head to the schedule to see the next session and book your spot. Booking ahead is the surest way to hold a place, as the morning classes tend to fill.
